The best actual news I read in years. It felt kinda weird reading it but, so relieving at the same time. Only because after years of the “news”, that’s so damn one sided and opinionated, reading this actually made sense. I’ve been writing in to the CBC asking them to do the news without their opinion and snide remarks and report both sides of the story. I don’t know how how they call themselves journalists.

Today was the first time since the pandemic began that I had been to the nursing home where my parents are, aged 93 and 94. I gave out my last remaining Druthers to nurses and psws who were desperate for something like this. The nursing home has become hellish with the screening done by people who don’t speak English well and seemed to have been hired by the government health department especially for their terrible bedside manners. They spit out all the covid questions forcefully, loudly and unintelligbly. I didn’t have to answer the questions because I met my parents on the outdoor patio. But the vibration in the nursing home compared with 1 1/2 years ago was terrible. The nurses and psws are hostages of fear in the nursing home. They need to receive Druthers asap.

There are far too many brain dead people who still refer to REAL journalism reporting, backed up by numbers and sources as garbage, hateful or racist. Canadians have accepted opinions, hyperbole and sarcasm as news from immoral bribe accepting … I hesitate to call them journalists for far too long. It should be illegal in Canada for ANY media outlet to accept government (bribes? hush money?) People don’t recognize real journalism any more. If it doesn’t fit their government programmed beliefs it scares them and it’s uncomfortable for them. Their atrophied brains and arrogant self righteousness blind them so they dismiss it as garbage.
